Word for Life Rosary Mission exists to help people open their hearts to a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit through the mysteries of the rosary. This school of Mary is a doorway for parishioners to enter into the mysteries, look into the eyes of Jesus, and allow His gaze of mercy to heal and transform their hearts. These experiences of the Lord’s touch prepare people for greater openness to the Holy Spirit and His many gifts. This sets the stage for a heartfelt renewal of baptismal vows in the hands of Our Lady of Mercy, through a simple but very powerful prayer of consecration. The mission concludes with prayer ministry for healing and empowerment. Parishioners are commissioned to put out into the deep by surrendering to the Holy Spirit, embracing Jesus as Lord, walking in their identity as children of the Father, and sharing His love and mercy with everyone they meet!
Central to Word for Life Rosary Mission is the Scriptural Rosary Hour, an evening/afternoon event that offers parishioners a chance to come together and be inspired, encouraged, and empowered to take the next step in saying yes to the Lord and His plan for their lives, which includes sharing Him with others. Equally central to the mission are the Rosary CDs, created for the purpose of helping parishioners “take the mission home” and incorporate prayer, the Word of God and evangelization into their busy lives. Also at the heart of this mission is an outreach to youth designed to reach young people and children in parochial schools. Scriptural Rosary Missions are also available on request.
